If you send us an email and you don't hear back from us within 48 hours (72 hours between late April and the IRS opening of the new filing season in January) your email account or mail server may be blocking our response. If this happens send us another email and enter the words 'Second Request' in the subject line. Be sure you have reviewed your email settings and checked any bulk/spam folders for our response. You may also want to contact your email provider to find out if and why they are blocking our response.
Use the email address you used to obtain your email key when you send us an email. It is not necessary to send Social Security Numbers in your email. If you have created multiple returns using the same email address, send us the last four digits of the Primary Social Security Number for the return you are referring to in your email. Please indicate the type of return (Federal, State-Only, Federal & State) as well as the form number(s) for the return you are referring to. Include a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing.
